Launch osTube v2.6 !

Dear Community,

Your wait is over: osTube 2.6 has arrived! With further enhanced WebTV!

Only few weeks passed after our last update - but our developers have used the time and implemented your input for advancement and also integrated several new features.

With the release of version 2.5 you could lean back and get to know and savor the new WebTV-mode. Now we offer you new features, such as a floating control bar and new selectable skins in a cool design.

For now sharing your videos with other users more easy than before, a consistent “Social Function”-share-menu was established, which fades in and out as an overlay within the player. Moreover we implemented new functions for you, which enable you to fade in and out functions easily and adapt the player’s color due to an implemented skin-selection panel. Visit our website on www.ostube.de/en/vimp and get to know all the functions of the media player.

Of course we did not only develop the ViMP and managed to take it on its next level, but also spiced up the community framework. Among these enhancements is the new activity-list, on which you can follow the latest actions of your friends and groups, such as friendships, new media and blog entries.
For the Professional Plus and Enterprise users we undertook enhancements and improvements to the banner management system.

Just visit the website www.ostube.com to find out more on the features and innovations of the osTube Editions. Of course you can also put all the functions of our Editions through their paces in our live demo on www.ostube.de/en/livedemo.

In version 2.6 you can by now purchase our osTube Enterprise Edition directly on our homepage for an unbeatable price of just $949.  Moreover we also offer a special Branded model of our osTube Enterprise Edition, which already is available for just $649. What it’s all about exactly you can find on www.ostube.de/en/enterprise.

Here you can see the most important enhancements of version 2.6 in a brief overview:

•    Social Functions-menu for the player
•    Floating controlbar
•    Adjustable player-skins
•    activity-list
•    Enhanced video-media-conversion
•    Full H.264-support
•    New Drag & Drop-functionalities in playlist and player
•    Enhanced and enlarged banner-management-system

osTube Enterprise Symfony becomes the AUVICA Media Framework!

Concurrently with the release of version 2.6 the successful osTube Enterprise Symfony becomes the “AUVICA Media Framework”. Under the same license agreement a big step was taken in the high-volume solution for WebTV and Social Communities. Detailed information on the new AUVICA Media Framework is available on www.auvica.com/en/media-framework.html.

Good luck with the new osTube 2.6! We look forward to your feedback and more suggestions for developing our frameworks.

Best regards,

Your osTube-Team
